My name is J. Santhosh Kumar, and I am proud to be the founder of Hear Million Ability Foundation, a non-profit organization created with a single vision: to empower the deaf community and give them the tools, training, and opportunities they deserve.
For over 10 years, I served as the Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Sports Council of the Deaf, during which time I successfully organized numerous state and national-level sports events. These experiences allowed me to work closely with the deaf community and understand both their strengths and the many challenges they face—especially in access to education, job skills, and social inclusion. With a strong desire to do more and make a lasting impact, they made the bold decision to begin a new journey: the creation of a dedicated foundation.
Driven by a desire to create more lasting impact beyond the sports arena, I made the difficult but meaningful decision to resign from the association and establish a new platform for broader support and empowerment.
