RPWD Disability Awareness
One of the primary objectives of the Hear Million Ability Foundation (HMAF) is to promote advocacy and awareness about the challenges faced by individuals with hearing disabilities in India, which affects approximately 18 million people.
To achieve this goal, HMAF collaborates with NGOs and other organizations that support the deaf community.
The foundation recently organized a workshop to empower the deaf by providing training on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD Act 2016). The workshop also included training for instructors in Indian Sign Language.
The event was sponsored by United India Insurance Company LTD, Sponsorship which provided T-shirts with the organization's logo
